Facility Under Development (FUD)
Facilities in the planning or construction phase, prior to receiving a certificate of occupancy, are eligible to become members for a flat fee of $1,004 per year. This fee includes both NJAHSA and AAHSA membership and dues. Once 50% occupancy is met, the facility is eligible to become a voting member under the graduated dues program.
2010 AAHSA FACILITY DUES
Facility Members are automatically enrolled as members of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). AAHSA's calculation of dues is a tiered-structured, millage system based on program services revenue (Sources: Line 2-IRS Form 990, Facility Cost Medicaid Report, or annual financial audit information), and excludes realized gains/losses and charitable contributions.
| Millage Tiers: |
| Revenues: $0 – 999,999 = | revenue x .00040 |
| Revenues: $1,000,000 – 9,999,999 = | revenue x .00035 + $50 |
| Revenues: $10,000,000 – over = | revenue x .00030 + $550 |
New Facility Members pay 50% of the millage rate the first year of membership and 100% of the millage rate during the second year of membership.
